Why I Make Sleep & Relaxation Music

My mind rarely slows down. My thoughts run all the time, and quieting them at night has always been hard for me. I first made this music for myself. I was tired of being jolted out of my sleep by playlists that mixed harsh sounds in with the soft ones — and I never cared for the ones that drifted into chanting and other sounds that just did not feel right to me. They gave me the sense of a ritual, and anything dealing with spiritism is something I choose to stay far away from.

I figured I could not be the only one who felt this way. There had to be other people who simply wanted rest, without the surprises. That is how sleep and relaxation music became part of my catalog.

Each project has its own purpose. Restful Mind is for unwinding, and it still carries a little gentle percussion. Terra Calma is for calming down and quiet thinking. Sleep Ward ICU is made purely for sleep — no hard sounds, no snare drums, nothing to pull you back awake.

My hope is simple: that anyone who finds it hard to sleep discovers the same rest in this music that my wife and I do.
